Miley Ray Cyrus daughter of Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. She was born on November 23 the 23rd of November 1993 in Franklin, Tennessee. She has five siblings - two half-brothers, one half-sister and an older brother and sister. She was named Miley by her family because she represented a huge opportunity for their future. Her childhood nickname, Smiley, due to her infectious personality later changed to Miley. Her grandfather, a Democrat political figure, Ron Cyrus, was her paternal grandparents. Cyrus first attended Heritage Elementary School in Tennessee. After she was eight years old the family relocated from Tennessee to Toronto, Canada, where Cyrus her dad Billy Ray took a role in the TV drama Doc (2001). Cyrus started acting in the same time. Her first appearance was with her dad as Doc Doc (2001). Also, Cyrus had part in Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003). Cyrus performed the role of Hannah Montana for Hannah Montana (2007), a Disney TV series about a young girl living a double existence as a star. In this case, her father was also in the show alongside her. The show went on to become a massive success. Tours that sold out and contracts for merchandise were also signed. Cyrus was a teen-sized star. After the success that was Hannah Montana 2006, Cyrus changed roles. She was Ronnie Miller and Lola alongside Demi Moore in The Last Song 2010 and LOL 2012.
